Green Jacket is Astral's top of the line white water rescue vest. USCG Type V PFD with 16.5lbs of buoyancy which is more than most PFD's to give extra flotation in aerated water. It's pull-over style is not for everyone, but once it's on it is very comfortable to wear and paddle. PFD's with side entry zippers aren't much easier to deal with than pull-over and front zippers compromise comfort and storage pockets. Features include: torso height adjustment straps located low in front where they are easy to use, throw rope storage chest pouch, quick-release rescue harness/tow belt, right side zippered pocket to store tow tether and carabiner, easy to grip snap-down quick release loop in front to hold biner ready for use, large front clam-shell zippered pocket with internal dividers for cell phone, folding knife, snacks and an internal zippered mesh pocket, fleece lined hand-warmer pouch below the center pocket, and a spectra safety loop in the front in case you need to improvise a crotch strap/harness.
